Troodon
At the Tucson Hotel I did find a couple of items for my collection both Kem Kem An cool right foot metatarsal # I from a smaller theropod or juvie. Very nice and my first of that type. Very heavy might mean it's very dense and not hollow signifying Spino and there are some affinities to the one in the Spino reconstruction. My next find is definitely from a Spinosaurid a very arthritic carpal. It's the second phalnax but who knows what digit. I have Phalanx 1 carpal that this articulates very well with. One outstanding specimen I saw yesterday was a bone that Pete Larsen identified looking similiar to an Ornithomimid humerus. A museum was taking a look at it. YES its from the Kem Kem and I have claw that look very similiar to an ornithomimid. New critter in this fauna?

BadlandTraveller
The broken claw is sad, I can’t help but think of all the fossils that get broken in total from transport to the show as well. So I got to meet Pete Larson yesterday at the Black hills booth at the hotel. He had an amazing anzu type raptor that included 90% original bone, feather impressions, stomach contents, claw sheath, it was amazing. I got to shake his hand and I told my wife I may never wash that hand again. Troodon has done a great job documenting the show and what it has to offer, thank you.

Max-fossils
Holy **** why did I not take a look at this thread earlier??!! Everything here is absolutely phenomenal! I was looking forward to going to the Fossil Show at Ede this March... Somehow I'm a little less excited now I do feel sorry though for everyone going there... deciding what you want to buy must be nearly as hard as choosing the FOTM here on TFF! The Tucson show is definitely on my to-do list, it seems to be such a grandiose show! Thank you so much Frank for taking all this time sharing these great pictures with us! Hi Troodon, This must be your most extensive collection of Tucson photos ever. Thanks for thinking of us who aren't going to the show this year and thanks for the time organizing and uploading the shots. Is that a Trigonotodus jaw section?
