I just skimmed this paper... correction on the title... it is on the 12th Archaeopteryx specimen.

Depends on how you count, I think. Recently, the "fourth specimen" of Archaeopteryx (housed in the Tyler's Museum, Haarlem, the Netherlands) has been reevaluated and transferred to a new genus, Ostromia, based on its bone proportions (see Foth and Rauhut, 2017). If you remove the Haarlem specimen from the list (by contrast to numbering consecutively), you do end up with 11 specimens.
