I concur with the others. What a frog to have in one's collection!

I have attached a few close-ups, and hopefully they would help identify the species of this frog, whether it is Dalianbatrachus/ Mesophryne.  Or would it be a Callobatrachus sanyanensis?

I am posting a photo of Callobatrachus sanyanensis and a photo of this frog again here for easy comparison.  Based on the photos, this frog seems to have a narrower skull.  I am still figuring out if they are of the same species or not.

You should contact Ke-Qin Gao, the top specialist on Chinese fossil frogs.  Check your PM for contact info.  Please post any updates.

Thank you, Piranha.  I have sent an email to Prof. Gao seeking his advice on the identity of the frogs.  I will post the updates should I receive reply.
