Congratulations Dan.  Wonderful specimens and photography. That handful of Worthenia tabulata and those echinoids have me salivating. Ludwigia, I'm sure, will really appreciate his package. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome work, Dan!

Now, if the wife could only get you back into the kitchen... :P

The Colonel is currently deployed, so she can’t put the heat on me directly, but I’ve been a good boy in the kitchen this weekend.  Out with the old cabinets, in with the new.  Ma’ Nature and I will have to catch up next weekend.

It is nice to see such lovely gastropods. "Snails" seem to be an  underappreciated fossil. Yet we seek these out whenever visiting a beach, leaving the deer bones and bones of other road kill alone as we venture to the coast. A bit of irony here. As I said, BEAUTIFUL gastropods.

The fossils look great. On the other hand, You've chosen the most unphotogenic quarter you could possibly find.

It looks as old as the fossils you are prepping.

We on the forum feel sorry for you having to use such a deplorable prop, so all the forum members have pitched in to get you a new shiny one.

Unfortunately, we are coming up a bit short in funds, so you will have to carry on with what you've got until a replacement can be rendered.

Schnecks and echs. Such a variety of snails in that formation. Those Worthenia are a particularly attractive snail... The Pennsylvanian ammonoids are interesting.

Thanks for showing.

Some real good stuff. Was a busy weekend

Alas, it was, and productive in its own way.  Time to curate, display and store.  Already gave away a bunch to lessen the burden.
