Thanks, Ludwigia. My eyes are getting old, but that's what magnification is for! LOL .      I usually find the individual teeth, so to me this tiny jaw looked pretty big.

Thank you, Heteromorph. I think this fossil had a bit of rust with it. The fossils in this matrix are usually black.

Ooooh. I missed this until now. What a terrific find that is! It looks HUGE to me. I've been searching through some of that matrix recently, and this piece is simply awesome! All your posts are such a valuable resource, Julianna. Thank you!

On a side note: Jaws seem to be a recurring theme here.....:trex:

Every single fossil you see is a miracle set in stone, and should be treated as such.
