this being Clare Torney's thesis:Mineral eyes:lessons from the natural world

Also some consideration is given to echinoderm eyes

HIGHLY recommended,a paleobiological gem,but other won't necessarily agree

The considerations given to mineralogy and diagenesis(GOOD petrogrpay!) are priceless,but then again,that's just me
