this being Clare Torney's thesis:Mineral eyes:lessons from the natural world

Also some consideration is given to echinoderm eyes

HIGHLY recommended,a paleobiological gem,but other won't necessarily agree

NB: two parts of this thesis may be found in Piranha's "Open Acces trilobite papers"

The considerations given to mineralogy and diagenesis(GOOD petrogrpay!) are priceless,but then again,that's just me
