Linkoln Rivenbark
I bought this fossil at the Tucson Gem and Mineral show and I was wondering what it was. It may have been a marine creature because these people had a lot of mosasaurus and shark teeth.
izak_
I'm pretty sure they are real enchodus teeth, but the matrix and 'jaw' are fake. From Morocco.
Troodon
Welcome to the forum. I'll second Foozil. Enchodus is a fish and what you have are the fang teeth. Check this out. http://www.prehistoric-wildlife.com/species/e/enchodus.html
ynot
Welcome to TFF. I agree with the others, real teeth manufactured jaw. Nice teeth though. The different colors of the teeth indicate that they came from different pieces. There is no bone texture in the "jaw". It is common for the Moroccan fossil teeth to be mounted like this. 1 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." Linkoln Rivenbark
I knew the jaw was fake, I was just planning on getting it to take the teeth out and keep them as individual teeth

I would just leave it as is, its a nice novelty piece. You might as well get some cheap loose ones and not risk ruining the others.
indominus rex
Those are Enchodus teeth but unfortunately the jaw is fake. But the teeth are at least real Life started in the ocean. And so did my interest in fossils.
