I found this sharks tooth at Harleyville Quarry in South Carolina. It is very, very small. Does anyone know what it is? It dates back to the Cenozoic.

Can we please have some more angles and how big it is?

It's about four mm, but right as I was going to go get some more pictures, I slipped and it fell onto my carpet, oops. :doh!:

Sweet! Shame I lost it. :(

You'll find it again with bare feet when you least expect it. Ouch!

Well, at least it'll be found, with a little bit of blood in the tip of it. :dinothumb:

Much better more close up in focus pictures are needed to even hazard a guess on this tooth. How long have you had it?

I would but like I said earlier, when I was trying to get some more pictures, my fingers slipped, and it fell into my carpet. I had had it for a little over a year.

Looks like a lateral cusplet of some sandshark (Carcharias/Brachycarcharias/Odontaspis..., don't think it is possible to determine)
