Here is a link that may be helpful to those looking to explore and find fossil sites in Utah.

That is an excellent resource. I have a hard copy version and it has been well loved. I must say that it has gotten old (published 1995) though, so several sites have been closed or changed, unfortunately. So make sure the site is still open to fossil collecting before adventuring out with all your equipment.:ighappy:

@piranha That is a fantastic link you provided. Much better and more thorough than my link.

Thanks for posting it.

Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone has recently been to Silver Creek Junction looking for petrified wood lately?  The latest post I can find on it is from 2011 and I'm having difficulty understanding their instructions on getting to the precise location.  Is the place still producing?  If so, can someone give a GPS location or screen shot of a pin on google earth pro?  Don't worry, I'm not going to ask you to go dig it for me too:-)
