Along with the 3 pristine Hemis I found at Brownies Beach, I also found some interesting micro finds. I really like the 3 sand tiger teeth with the perfect sharp cusps on each side and they're REALLY sharp too. I also was able to score 2 nice Angelshark teeth (I love how they stand up on their root). I also found what I believe to be a tooth from the rostrum of a Sawfish? or perhaps some species of fish. I need help to ID the micro tooth, it has small serrations on either side and I have found one similar to this previously on another trip.

You will not find goblin shark teeth or sawfish rostrums at Brownies.

The tooth in pictures 3 and 4 is a Physogaleus contortus symphyseal tooth.

Sometimes you will find ray barbs there that kinda look like a saw fish bill. That’s not what this is though.

Was it? I’m still quite confused if I’m honest. I don’t feel that there was much of a conclusion. I. desori was suggested but never confirmed with any solid evidence. Many of the experts who were tagged on the posts never commented, and I’m still not sure at all on the identification of the tooth.
