Kobalt air compressor

I'm looking at purchasing a 1 HP, 4.3 gallon, 125 PSI quiet-tech Kobalt compressor to use  with a microjack 6.  Any thoughts about the suitability of this small air compressor?

Kane is correct.

I've got an 8 gallon Harbor Freight Central Pneumatic compressor, and that turns on every 5 or 6 minutes. :(

I use a 30 gallon Husky compressor, only about $100 more than the one you mention and has 7+ times the capacity. It won't be as quiet, but you are paying a premium for that word 'quiet'.

60dB is pretty quiet. That's about the sound level of a normal conversation. If noise is an issue for you (angry neighbors, etc.) this should help a lot. I run my Microjack 4 on a 21 gallon compressor and it will cycle after somewhere around 12-15 minutes. That would mean your compressor is going to cycle every 2-3 minutes. It will probably take at least a minute to satisfy and turn off. So, this little compressor isn't going to get much rest.

If noise isn't a problem, I would go for a larger oil cooled compressor and mitigate my own noise issues by hearing protection (you need to wear it with the scribe running anyway). My 21 gallon Harbor Freight compressor was $175.

I started out with a 20 gallon one in the beginning, (about 26 years ago)  but the bigger you go the less it has to work.  I now use a 60 gallon one and it can go quite awhile before it has to recharge, but also, expensive.
