What is this Vertebra I got

Hi I would like to identify this vertebra I bought on an auction site.

It is from France (Pas-De-Calais). I think it might be from an Ichthyosaurid allthough it is quite big and thick (8,5cm diameter and 4,5cm wide)

My second guess is Plesiosaurid.

Yes. Do you know the specie or kind of vertebra?

That's really nice vertebra Thomas, I think it is a Icthyosaurus but that's just my guess but I am not sure.

I believe I saw this posting and the seller was advertising it as Icthyosaur.

I'm going to say chunkosaurus due to the wear.

worn ichthyosaur is my guess.  Very few things are this bag and concave like this on both ends.

age matters. What is the age of the formation the vert was found in at Pas-De-Calais? I may be wrong but ichthyosaurs are not found later than early campanian?

I fully agree with you my friend LiamL, because really the state of conservation is not the best, besides this is missing the precious information from the collection site, but definitely Plesiosaurid is not. Due to concavity and its own morphology, one more vote here for an Ichthyosaurid of indeterminate specie.
