fossilsonwheels
Awesome collection. Those are some gorgeous teeth. I was avoiding getting one as they can get a bit pricey for a small tooth but I have changed my tune. We need to get a Troodontid tooth. The kids will like those gnarly looking teeth. Troodon
Possible Troodontid metatarsal...not a lot of postcranial material is available to compare with. Edit 4/10/23 After additional investigation I believe this is a Caenagathid similar to Elmisauius elegans. 1

Fossil Collect
I've noticed that most Troodontid teeth from the Hell creek and lance formations only have serrations on one side yet the troodontid teeth from the Judith river and Two medicine formations have serrations on both side. Why is that? Edited March 21, 2023 by Fossil Collect
Troodon
@Fossil Collect I'm not sure that the case, some of what you are seeing it is due to a poor preservation and some have smaller serrations while all premaxillary teeth contain them. The small sampling size may also not reflect the correct picture. Remember you are comparing, probably 3 different species, one of which is Maastrichtian in age so until they are described we really don't know what differences, if any, exist in these teeth.
