Here are some micro finds from a recent trip to a Paleocene site on the Potomac river. The drum tooth is the first drum tooth I have found and it was my second find of the day!

I try to get out every weekend, but I'm also posting a lot since the beginning of winter. I just joined TFF so I'm trying to build my page!

@Williamb55 The small round button tooth, the one you call drum, is actually Paralbula marylandica. It is an extinct fish from the family Phyllodontidae. Drum are in the family Sciaenidae. Not correct to call this a drum tooth.
