I’ve only went once and I got a ton of partials and one which I suspect to be complete but is buried under the matrix (no hope of it coming out). I might head to Brownies today, I’ll send you a PM if I decide to. Monica
That was a nice mix of things that you found - terrestrial and marine in one place - very cool! Good luck for your outing today! Monica
Darktooth
Well today was pretty much a bust. It seems that Deep Springs got hit with a few more inches of snow Saturday evening than I did where I live. It was there to greet me this morning and I wasn't pleased at all. I did stay for a couple hours trying to make the best of it. I did find a Greenops that might clean up ok. And I found a Eldredgeops cephalon that is kinda nice. Other than that there were a lot of the usual small brachs and bivalves, but nothing worthy of bringing home. What a disappointment. I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie. Kane
Sorry to hear that. But, I suppose it is somewhat "pushing the season." Another way of looking at it is this: you've already had some good hunts in 2018, with lovely finds, and it is still just February! It is not often that those of us living in the north, with lake effect snows, can actually get out there until spring. ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer

Now I am just itching to get back there even more! I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.
