I found this nodule last summer and opened it about a month ago.  Could it be a worm?  I didn't know if the two adjoining dots on the left were jaws.DSC02295.thumb.JPG.49ac0af7988884938c7c3da35779bcc4.JPGDSC02288.thumb.JPG.bccbc393c3e6307f675ceaa7c916f493.JPG

Could it be a part of a tully monster, Tullimonstrum gregarium?

The front of the body with the two eyes connected by a bar?

This seems like a job for @Nimravis.

It looks fishy to me, but I'm not familiar with these nodules. (Acanthodes marshi ?) - Francis Creek ?

I might be wrong, but I am seeing a random piece of flora, possibly bark, with 2 possible Ostracodes attached. I would like to hear what others think.

Looks plantlike to me also. I see no diagnostic features that indicate worm.

I love it when you crack open a nodule and find something inside.

I was thinking plant material. Happy to see what others think.

It would really help to know where they came from.
