Rockpit
I found this nodule last summer and opened it about a month ago. Could it be a worm? I didn't know if the two adjoining dots on the left were jaws.

Tidgy's Dad
Could it be a part of a tully monster, Tullimonstrum gregarium? The front of the body with the two eyes connected by a bar? Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
Miocene_Mason
This seems like a job for @Nimravis. “...whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been and are being evolved.” ~ Charles Darwin Happy hunting, Mason

abyssunder
It looks fishy to me, but I'm not familiar with these nodules. (Acanthodes marshi ?) - Francis Creek ? KimTexan
I was thinking it’s a bit fishy as well, but I defer to people with more experience than I with these fossils.
Nimravis
I might be wrong, but I am seeing a random piece of flora, possibly bark, with 2 possible Ostracodes attached. I would like to hear what others think.
Rob Russell
Looks plantlike to me also. I see no diagnostic features that indicate worm. Finding my way through life; one fossil at a time.
oldtimer
I love it when you crack open a nodule and find something inside. I was thinking plant material. Happy to see what others think.
Rockpit
Thank you for your replies. I thought it was kind of straight to be a worm but the two spots made me think it was animal and not plant. I previously posted these and didn't get any replies. I wasn't sure if they were worms or just interesting rock formations.
