Museum in Fruita Colorado

While on my road trip to Utah I stopped at the Museum in Fruita Colorado.  This place is just off I-70 on the western side of the state.

It is a small museum dedicated to Dinosaurs.  They have a lot of displays that include those found locally. Just south of the museum is a place called Dinosaur Hill.

This place has produced a lot of finds including a large Apatosaurus a 70 foot long 30 ton Dinosaur found by Elmer Riggs in 1900.

Below are plaques commemorating his discovery.

I was impressed by this wonderful Dinosaur Museum there in Fruita Colorado (The State of Utah and its mysteries :D). It must be even more beautiful in person. Congratulations on the excellent post my friend @oldtimer and especially for the great patience you had in posting these wonderful photos!

Is It real, or it's not real, that's the question!

Thanks. The Museum is even better in person.  This is the second time I have visited it. It took a lot of patience to get the pics to load correct. I tried to get the words under them and it became awful frustrating, It was difficult to get the names below them too. So some are not named. I wanted to throw my laptop across the room.

And then there is the issue with posting photos lately. Kept telling me they were too large. :doh!:

Very cool!
