Phalagorn
ID Request - Anyone know what these fossilized teeth might belong to? It measures 19 x 9 x 9 mm. I believe it’s one premolar and two molars from a herbivorous mammal (pre last glacial period?). I found it inside the chalk cliffs of Ven island, in the Øresund strait between Sweden and Denmark.

Harry Pristis
It's a single tooth, an m3. The dimensions provided are very small for a modern pig. abyssunder
It looks Suidae tooth, to me. I'm leaning toward Sus scrofa, also. 19 x 9 x 9 mm - so one grid has 5x5 mm, right? In my thinking, it might be also a deciduous premolar, dp4. excerpt from * Doc 1 * Doc 2 1 " We are not separate and independent entities, but like links in a chain, and we could not by any means be what we are without those who went before us and showed us the way.
