MSirmon
Was working among some river rocks in a flower bed in a midland TX and ran across this. Not sure what it is but think it looks toothy. I am not sure on the origin of the rocks in the bed. If it is great but if not it will go into my really cool rocks collection.
indominus rex
To me it doesn't really look like a fossil, maybe just a piece of concretion? Life started in the ocean. And so did my interest in fossils.
abyssunder
One is clear. It has high iron content (pyrite, marcasite, goethite...). RyanDye
Looks to be a rock, as indominus said most likely a concretion, which is basically a rock with high mineral content; for example iron concretions, copper concretions, etc. etc.
ynot
I will go with a iron concretion on limestone. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." My Fossil collection - My Mineral collection My favorite thread on TFF.

Mike, your "really cool "rock collection must be huge by now! I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.
