Uncle Siphuncle
Did another lunch hour prep today. Heteromorphic ammonites Mariella brazoensis, Grayson Fm, North Texas. None perfect, but security in numbers. 5 Grüße, Daniel A. Wöhr aus Südtexas "To the motivated go the spoils."

Jeffrey P
I'm not used to seeing multiple heteromorphs on one chunk of matrix. That's one incredible find and an excellent prep job. Big congratulations and thanks for sharing it with us. Do you think there might be more of those out there?

The president is OK with me running an air house out behind the building and scribing my lunch hours away. That way I have much better light than evenings, and no conflict w domestic obligations. I grabbed the obvious keeper stuff that was showing, but continued weathering could produce more, as would random smashing of rocks for blind finds. Tough access to the site though. Grüße, Daniel A.
