Fossil in amber baltic

It's hard to imagine a 2 mm long gecko.  It's impossible to be sure from that photo, but I suspect the inclusion is some sort of plant material with a superficial resemblance to a foot with 4 (not 5) toes.

No living gecko is that small. 

And the smallest reptile baby is a type of leaf chameleon, still bigger than 2 mm.

They probably can't get much, if any smaller. 

I think it's a very convincingly shaped piece of vegetable matter as well.

Not much definition or contrast to it; might not even be organic, from what I can see.
