Pds86
I'm not convinced that what I am looking at is in fact a fossil. I've checked several of my books on minerals and asked a few people and no one knows what these are. We were hiking some drainages in Central Colorado and found these near some copper deposits. ynot
Welcome to TFF! Your pictures are to blurry to be sure of anything other than - they are not fossils. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Wrangellian
Yep - too blurry. I like the sound of "gem-laden" but doesn't sound like a fossiliferous place.
Rockwood
These look pretty sedimentary to me. The second is a a bit septarian concretion like.
abyssunder
The green areas might be hydrated copper sulfate and hydrated copper carbonate. Maybe the specimens are copper ores. Ludwigia
The photos are too out of focus to be able to make a proper judgement. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/
