You've been finding some amazing fish specimens as of late, but this is the best. Can only begin to imagine all the time and toil that went into finding this beauty. It appears all of your effort paid off. Big congratulations on a well deserved win.

Awesome thanks everyone! Yes been getting lucky with the fish lately. This one was cool. I found it in a creek that I pass by on the way to work everyday right next a busy city street. You just never know:D

Exactly correct. Always on the lookout and it really paid off this time.  Fantastic find.., great prep bringing it out of the matrix.

Congratulations :) that's a really neat jaw!

Opalised fossils are the best: a wonderful mix between paleontology and mineralogy!
