Tony T
Hi all new here and appreciate all of your replies I am planning a trip to bayfront beach soon with my twin boy that are autistic and would really make their day if we found somethings. My question is should I bring some tools with me or anything that would help us and give us a better chance? Again thank you!
Darktooth
A shovel and sifter will help if nothing is being brought up by the waves. But don't dig in the cliffs themselves. You can dig the shell line or the piles that have fallen from the cliffs. I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.

I find that a small garden rake is a very useful tool to dig up buried fossils in the sand. I usually rake just above the water line and let the waves do the work for me.
