PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE: Use an INTERNATIONAL SCALE when posting images for ID!!!

Everyone please use an internationally recognised scale in your images. Coins aren’t good enough. How big is s rupee, or a farthing? I dunno.

Of course a marmite jar is the same size worldwide  Vegimite is NOT internationally recognised. I hope you’re taking notes @Jesuslover340;)

Great post. This is something that many people forget about. And hands also don’t work. How do we know whether you have tiny hands or if you’re Bigfoot?

I agree.

Serious point.

I have no idea how big any American coins are.

I understand British currency has changed size since my day.

Please be kind and post your fossils compared to something that Moroccans would be familiar with.

Not that this helps much, but one NY pizza is 1/27th the thickness of a Chicago pizza. :D

You'll be so busy trying to gather up the cheese so you can actually eat the slice, you wont even notice the sauce position.

It gives the term "cheese pizza" a whole new meaning.

But gaud, does that picture ever make me hungry! Yum!!!

How about this? I call it the Sarcosuchus scale. You would know the size of fossils just by placing a Sarcosuchus tooth next to it! Observe.

I thought a "marmite" was a kind of rodent so I was, uh, confused by that photo.  I would think we could still use one of those dinosaur coins we found in cereal boxes back in the 70's or 80's.  Surely, everyone here has at least one of those.

Or you could print out and use this TFF logo ruler and advertise the forum with every photo.  Be sure when you print the PDF file that you set the printer driver to print with no scaling so the scales come out correctly.
