How about this? I call it the Sarcosuchus scale. You would know the size of fossils just by placing a Sarcosuchus tooth next to it! Observe.

What’s wrong with a ruler that’s got both metric and imperial measurements on it.

“How hard is that”???

They are, and you can order them frozen and shipped to your house, my brother in Georgia does it.

OMG, I LOOOOOVE Giordanos!  I woulndt go back to Chicago without having some more.  I love it so much, that when I saw a Giordanos in Las Vegas I was extremely skeptical to try it, because those types of places are rarely close to the original.

Hi,

This certainly do more mistake than a scale in cm or inch ! You think I’m gonna take a meter to measure the size of a pen and deduce the size of a fossil ? When we want to have a fossil identified by an entire community that holds so much knowledge and wants to share, the least we can do, it seems to me, is to make a minimum effort to give its fossil a size.

I agree but an object can sometimes visualise the size better.

Most people have no problem with a ruler or meter stick.

Wrong !

Everyone knows the cm and/or the inches, but we will not take a ruler to measure a mask (assuming they are all the same size) to deduce the size of a fossil. I am French, my standard is the rule in cm, but I made the effort to learn how much is one cm in inch, because I am on an American forum where the whole world is represented. Usually when I put photos, I indicate the size in cm AND inch ;)

It hasn't arrived yet. Still stuck in customs, I expect. 1672416129_CustomsCavity.gif.ccb122fe715ce85f8dc020a1e28e84a6.gif

I assume pretty much decayed after three years, but depends how many preservatives they put in these things.
