Crazyhen
This concretion is found from along with sea lily fossil from the Triassic period on the surface substratum in Guizhou. The surface seems to be of a different texture and colour than the general matrix in the area. Is it simply a concretion or if it is part of a fossil? Innocentx
I agree with concretion. There may or may not be something interesting inside, if you felt like cracking it open. "Journey through a universe ablaze with changes" Phil Ochs

ynot
Hit it with a hammer. Many light hits will work better than one hard hit. 1 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Innocentx
I would start where it's widest and go around this 'edge' using the flat end of a rock hammer. 1 "Journey through a universe ablaze with changes" Phil Ochs
