Kane
You may need to remove it (carefully), clean it, and show some close-up pictures to better obtain an identification for this one. It will also be important to indicate the scale of the item, using a ruler or tape measure. 2 ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer
JarrodB
Cool find. Be sure to post more pics. Most likely something like mosasaur.

Troodon
Can you be specific and where this was found to determine age?
LordTrilobite
Would it be correct to assume this is in Morocco? If so JarrodB may be right that Mosasaur is a possibility. Some of the vertebrae do seem to be in fairly good condition, perhaps some slight cleaning an good photos of those bones might help. Besides that I think that just great care should be taken to extract the whole animal so it can be cleaned. Tidgy's Dad
His last reported location was the region around Boujdour, Southern Morocco. Cretaceous and Neogene occur here, but I know that many whales have been found in the region. So I guess whale. If he's still in that area. 2 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend. GeschWhat
Too bad someone took the head. So many people just like the sexy fossils parts and forget what we can learn from the rest. I have been on dig sites here in the US where people have poached fossils - only taking the head when they don't have time to remove the rest. 1 Lori www.areallycrappystory.com/fossils www.facebook.com/fossilpoo
Innocentx
I'm looking forward to you exposing more of this. Please take photos as you proceed. Because @Tidgy's Dad has suggested falling for the skull, you might look below. Good luck with that. Boujdour is Western Sahara and most of that material in the Boujdour basin is Eocene and very common to find whales so that is a definite possibility
