DatFossilBoy
Hello, This is my best 2D Ammonite that a friend generously gave to me. It is 4cm in diameter and is from Holzmaden,Germany. Could somebody tell what specie of ammonite this is? Or any additional info. Tell me if you need more pictures. Thanks,Regards

belemniten
This is indeed a Dactylioceras commune, which is one of the most common ammonite in Holzmaden. Here is a good overview: http://www.holzmadenfossilien.de/inhalte start klein/Ammoniten.html A neat specimen ! 6 Many greetings from Germany !
