Marshosaurus teeth are like buses. None come along then two come along at once.

This will be listed as a theropod indet until I get round to doing a thorough serration count. It is definitely a megalosaur however.

I have finally obtained a UK Pliosaur tooth. This one was found at the Orton Brick Pit, Peterborough. It’s not perfect and is missing the tip but it’s a really cool rooted tooth

Did you run out of theropods to collect? :P

Beautiful pliosaur tooth. Any idea what species it is from?

Three allosaurus teeth all from the same dinosaur. Unfortunately the jaw section eroded but left three beautiful teeth.

My latest additions

This tooth closely resembles those found with the holotype specimen and is pretty slender. A beautiful all natural tooth which is a good size too

Very impressive collection @paulyb135!

But I have a serious question. I have not seen one label or catalog number. How do you know what is what, and what comes from where? Especially with multiple specimens in the riker mounts?

Thanks Dave. I have notes kept separately with all the details on, plus all the locality details are on here and also on my Instagram page so I have three bases covered in that respect.

I don’t have labels with the teeth for a few reasons - space issue being the main one and also as I like to group my teeth together I feel labels would get in the way and it wouldn’t look as good

Good to know. I was just curious. I have to admit that most of my collection does not have labeles at the moment. I plan on rectifying that soon now that I have all kinds of time on my hands.

My latest addition is this stunning, ultra rare velociraptorine tooth from the Isle of Wight.

I spent this morning comparing the measurements against Sweetman’s paper below and have also had it confirmed as a raptor from the Isle of Wight museum.

Amazing collection of teeth. So many rare ones too.

Love the baryonyx teeth--I'm still kicking myself for not snapping one up I saw for sale 5 years ago during the time I'd stopped collecting.

Thank you! Really happy with what I have and only have a few more species I really want so then it will just be about upgrades.

Baryonyx teeth are fantastic, I love the feel of the wrinkled enamel when I run my hand over it. Hopefully you manage to get hold of one in the future
