Hey all, 

I am working on a project within the Glen Rose Formation of Spring Branch, Texas. Could somebody take a look at these giant forams (Orbitolina texana) and see what the binding organism is. I originally thought they were oysters but now my professor suggests that they make be barnacles instead... These forams are roughly half a centimeter in diameter

I think your right. The valve to exogyra arietina maybe. They could have attached when very young not unlike a barnacle. 

Many times I've wondered how much there is to know.
