Fake trilobite?

Hey all,

I imagine,like the 2 trilobites I posted yesterday this one is fake and carved on?

Just wanted to check,just in case.What do you think?

It looks like a Psychopyge sp. ,but it looks like a complete fake so stay away from this one.

Yeah, there's a lot of air bubbles in this one. Stay far away

It does look fishy, even though I am no expert I still would pass it. Also is it just me or the pygidium looks a bit off?

Life started in the ocean. And so did my interest in fossils;).

Even the pygidium looks asymmetric. As others above have indicated, walk away from this one.

You might benefit from reading this article, if you haven't already. 

Learning what to look for will save you lots of time and angst about fake fossils. ;)

It's made from resin. 

And badly. 

The air bubbles are a dead giveaway.

The Tucson fossil show was full of fake trilobites and sometimes those who purchase them to resell are not aware they are fake.

Suggest you look at other sources to purchase them, sellers that know good versus bad ones.
