Stone City Bluff, Middle Eocene Marine Fossils from Whiskey Bridge (Hwy 21) in Burleson County

These are some of the Middle Eocene marine fossils I found along the Brazos River on a trip to the Whiskey Bridge location along Highway 21 in Burleson County 4 or 5 years ago.

Love the cones. Reminds me of Florida's Pinecrest fossils. That is the wackiest ruler! Its early and I haven"t been drinking but it is making me woosy. Oh maybe its from the location!

Thanks! I do too! Got that little ruler in a bag of freebies when I went to a local trade show.
