What are those cubes with measurements on them called? I looked at various subforums but didn't see any of them listed and since I don't know their name I can't really search for them!

Darn things always seem to get into more and more shots lately.

Why don't they mind their own business and stop getting in the frame when we are trying to get good photos?!!!
