Bargain buy on storage

Bobby Rico

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Mrs Rico and I spotted a vintage goods shop yesterday and thought we look around. I then spotted a very nice filling cabinet for £40 I do think it is a good buy. Today I felted the draws and cut the base of and add some casters. I have added a couple of fossils in just to try it out. I may make some deviders later. It only good for narrow fossil but I have a lot of them.

Thanks for looking cheers Bobby

Thanks @Troodon Frank . I need to get out there and fined some more fossils. Also definitely going to save up this year and win some more of the Christmas auction lots  as I would like to fill this cabinet .

Lovely, a really good buy.

I used to have one like it in plain grey, they are very useful for storage indeed.

Some super fossils, too. :)

Hi all

just thought I would update my storage draws post. Today I spent all morning in the workshop making some draw dividers. I think they've turned out nice.

Ooo, nice! The wheels are a perk imo as well, that thing is soon going to become a museum on wheels!

If you're a fossil nut from Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Redondo Beach, or Torrance, feel free to shoot me a PM!

Thank you very much. The first thing I did was to grind the base off and add the wheels. It makes it look more like home furniture. :dinothumb:

Plus, if you're ever gonna need to show those fossils somewhere, you can simply move the cabinet around!

Thanks Doren you are right and I am very pleased with the drawers and of course the fossil I got from you . The main reason I need a new cabinet was to house the goodies you sent. Thank you
