Sacha
I was wondering if this little bone is distinctive enough to get an ID on. The photos are large and since I upgraded my MacBook to High Sierra I can't find an option to choose a smaller size. I'll post the other picture in the next reply. Laditz
Looks like a metacarpal! The animal it came from would be a bit of a guess for me.. maybe start comparing with Sus (pig/boar)?
digit
Looks like a nice specimen. I still haven't found enough of these to have any idea where to begin with an identification. Hoping @Harry Pristis will swoop in and give us a bit of an education on how to identify this specimen. Cheers. -Ken

Sacha
I could find 2 Tapir Metapodials on the forum and they are both almost an inch longer than mine. Is that reasonable if we consider change in length due to age?
