It Does Not Look Like Deer ?

Well, deer have two sets of phalanges, the proximal phalanx and the medial phalanx followed by the hoof core. The bone is question is the medial phalanx. Here's a picture of a deer leg mount from paleoenterprises.com

I don't think it's a deer toebone any ideas?

It looks like deer from here, Worthy. The Antilocarprid, Capromeryx, is found occasionally in the Santa Fe. A Capromeryx phalanx would bear a resemblance to a deer phalanx, but you'd need a comparison bone to be sure.
