New Mesozoic crocodyliform from Egypt

The Cenomanian-age Bahariya Formation may be the most fossiliferous geologic unit in the land of pyramids and mummies, but Wahasuchus represents the first terrestrial crocodyliform to be described from uppermost Cretaceous deposits in North Africa, and comes upon the description of Mansourasaurus by expanding upon rudimentary knowledge of terrestrial archosaurs from the Campanian-Maastrichtian of mainland Africa (excluding Madagascar).
