Hello all!

My first Tyrannosaurid tooth has arrived this morning.

It is a 4cm Timurlengia euotica tooth from the Kyzylkum desert, North of the Uzbekistan. It has this amazing blackish colour and has it’s tip :)

I got really lucky with this tooth because I bought it for less than 100$

Super happy with this piece. Tell me if you want more pictures.:D

Hope you like it!

Kind regards.

Very nice.  It is incredible to think about the ancient creature that your tooth belonged to, while you are holding it. I imagine you get a real feeling  of wonder.  Btw good price. Cheers Bobby :dinothumb:

That's an absolutely stunning tooth, would look amazing on you shelf:). And congrats on your first Tyrannosaur tooth!

Life started in the ocean. And so did my interest in fossils;).

Yes I know!

It is a real pride and achievement to have a tooth of this once living massive and symbolic creature.

Thank you for the nice comment. :)

Way to kick off your tyrannosaur collection with an excellent start! Congratulations :)

Thank you!

It is a very nice and uncommon type of Tyrannosaurid that I got for quite cheap so I’m happy.

I think Rexy wants her dentures back :P

Awesome tooth! :D

Every single fossil you see is a miracle set in stone, and should be treated as such.

Congrats on your first tyrannosaurid! This is the start to a bigger tyrannosaurid collection :)

Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!

Hi!

Sorry I am a bit late with the comment...

I am also desperate for some quality stands and ways to present my fossils without paying 10€ per stand. A hard job...

This is how I displayed my tooth, looks fairly professional, used some bubble rap-ish paper, put it in the box that was provided with the tooth being careful not to press the tooth against the hard plastic Andy voila!

A decent and cheap method, you can clearly see the upright fossil, dust proof and all :)

Until I get something better, I like it!

Hope it helps!

Regards
