Looks  great I am very pleased for you . I waited 40 years for my first Tyrannosaurid tooth.  :dinothumb:

Oh wow. That’s a long time to wait. But worth it surely.

What is it?

Regards

It was worth the wait I got a Nanotyrannus lancensis

Garfield Co. Montana

Tyrannosaurid indet

Could be a juvie maxillary Rex or Nano

Harding County, SD and some more Nanos

Also this year I did get a T.rex tooth to add to my hell Creek. I could not be happier with.

fossil collecting is a lifelong passion no need to rush it but I know fossil collectors can be impatient people too :D

Little update presentation wise @Bobby Rico

Just bought this really nice floating display case for my two Timurlengia teeth.

Makes them look amazing for just over 1$!

I really recommend you get one from eBay for your tooth :)

regards

The frame looks really cool and will keep your teeth dust free.  Great buy, thank you for thinking about me. I keep my Hell Creek collection in belly jar I rescued form a dumpster. I made a stand to go on the inside. I added a link to my Hell collection please have a look if you like.

Thats a cool method, you rescued it from a dumpster?! You are both recycling and displaying fossils nicely:dinothumb:.

Life started in the ocean. And so did my interest in fossils;).

Yeah I do like to recycle and reuse . I got lots of cool stuff from the college I work at, when science moved rooms they just threw lots of cool stuff away like 60s posters , Bell jars, old weights , tripods, vintage ostrich egg and a taxidermy shark head . All stuff was going to landfill sites how sad that would have been. 1961 poster.

I am also desperate for some quality stands and ways to present my fossils without paying 10€ per stand. A hard job...

I use regular copper wire for my stands. They come out great, they're sturdy, lightweight, plus you can get different colored wire.

@Bone guy they are very cool and show your fossil off lovely. A very discreet stand. I made this stands for my woolly rhino tooth and spear head.

Hello all!

My first Tyrannosaurid tooth has arrived this morning.

It is a 4cm Timurlengia euotica tooth from the Kyzylkum desert, North of the Uzbekistan. It has this amazing blackish colour and has it’s tip :)

I got really lucky with this tooth because I bought it for less than 100$

Super happy with this piece. Tell me if you want more pictures.:D

Hope you like it!

Kind regards.

Just for fun I got an vintage shark head taxidermy I was recused out of the trash. I think you will not find a more unusual display stand than this. I do like the look of the Turritella from France been held in the

jaw. Just when you thought it was safe to go back into your collection.:D
