Identification please

EDIT: Note to self; get scale before trying to give an ID. 

My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.

 What is the size of this. Can you add something in the picture for scale?. It doesn’t really look like Glyptodon to me.

Or perhaps a bit of shark cartilage. Really need to get the size on this.

As others have said, it is part of a ray plate. It is the smaller teeth to the side of the plate.

Very cool looking. Great pics, with the exception of a scale of size. It could be the size of tire tread for all we know or only a few cm wide.
