Hello! I have purchased this nice raptor tooth from Judith River formation. I think this is saurornitholestes tooth. Am I correct? Thanks in advance!

How does the Mesial serration density compare with the Distal ones?  Can you take a photo of the base, need to see cross-section.  What is the location where this tooth was found?

Mesial serration density is lower than distal. Regarding location - it was said on auction that the tooth was found in Cretaceous river channel in Judith River formation, no more information about location. I will post extra pics alittle bit later. Thanks!

Can you clarify lower,  does that me more or less than the distal (inside) ones.

As far as the location I checked eBay and saw the tooth in the sold section.  Its a seller I know.  He collects in Hill County, Montana so I can confirm its a JR tooth and you now have a location.   Going forward let me recommend that you obtain locality information on any purchases and do not trust just the formation.   I've come across too many sellers that confuse Two Medicine locations with JR ones.

There are more mesial serrations than distal (distal serrations can be seen on upper 1/3 of the tooth), they are bigger. Here are extra pics.
