Thanks @Tidgy's Dad! I absolutely love it. I had to be really patient and it finally arrived today after a month!

Some of my parcels take two months. :(

But the anticipation adds to the joy when it finally arrives. :)

Life's good.

2 months is a really long time to wait for me personally but you are right the feeling you get when you finally receive it is amazing. I am a worrier so would hope that it doesn't get lost on its way to me haha

Gorgosaurus tooth

My most recent acquisition - Such a beautiful tooth.

I wish I had my DSLR Camera so I could take sharper photos but it's being used by a family member.

Judith River formation, Montana is all that I have been able to obtain in terms of location on this tooth above. The seller doesn't know the town. Just so you know that I am aware there is an issue with it being pretty much indistinguishable from daspletosaurus but I'll keep thinking it's Gorgosaurus lol

Thanks, unfortunately town/county is very important since there are a number of formations it could fit.   Seller needs to be more diligent in getting this information.  Just an fyi, neither Daspletosaurus or Gorgosaurus are described from the Judith River Formation but are in similar Campanian deposits of the Dinosaur Park Fm. of Alberta

Morph Type 3 Theropod indet - Possibly Carcharodontosauria

Location: Kem Kem Beds of Morocco. The seller mentions that the tooth was found outside the city of Taouz Morocco along a cliff facing which separates Morocco from Algeria.

Size: 1.5"+

They seller believes that it is not a Carcharodontosaurus tooth based on the cross section of the tooth and length of the tooth as well as the serrations (possibly Deltadromeus or a as yet described Abelisaur from the formation). *With the help of people on this forum I have found out that it is not an Abelisaurid but fits my morph type 3.  Might one day be called a Deltadromeus but without the lack of scientific evidence it's a Theropod indet.

It's not a rare tooth but I like it and every tooth is unique in its own way  :dinothumb:
