Yeah as my collection grows I will find I need to change the display. I love those floating frames they are amazing just wished the plastic on it didn't gather as much dust as it does!

Lol  that’s why we need the sealed glass cabinets and our problems are solved.

Nanotyrannus lancensis

Hell Creek Formation

Powder River County, Montana

1.35" long and .43" tall and .24" wide

My first rooted Nano tooth, although it's incredibly tiny it's a perfect tooth. The serrations are perfect, the surface (including the enamel) of the tooth looks and feels incredible and it's got a root which isn't as common nowadays. The seller has also given away some freebie gifts (below) for my first buy with them! Triceratops, Crocodile, String Ray Teeth and Gar Fish Scales :ighappy:

Razanandrongobe sakalavae

Ambondromamy

Found in the Isalo III B Rock unit, Mahajanga Basin, North West Madagascar

Middle Jurassic (Bathonian)

I have had this tooth for a while now but I have been on vacation so I haven't had the time to post pictures of it. Restored tip but a really nice thick rare croc tooth. You can also make out the large serrations. Incredible tooth.

Alioramus remotus

Theropod
Late Cretaceous
Nogon Tsav Formation
Bayankhongor, Mongolia

40mm partially rooted tooth

20181025_182638.jpg20181025_182515.jpg20181026_082152.jpg

Some HQ photos of the tooth sent from the seller. The colour of the tooth when held in hand in daylight is a lot lighter.

8428-2894.jpg8428-2895.jpg8428-2893.jpg8428-2892.jpg

@hxmendoza You explained to me that if the tooth is not proportionately robust and more bladelike than its probably Alioramus. But if robust (particularly lingual to labial sides) then it would be a rearward Tarbosaurus tooth. Looking at the pics what are your opinions on the ID? I am not sure what the lingual and labial sides are so apologies, I need to brush up on my terminology! It looks blade like to me...

Some clearer photos of this tooth in direct sunlight. Although the serrations are worn in direct sunlight you can make them out clearer and can see the detail in the surface of the tooth.

Baryonyx tooth 1

Smoke Jacks Pit.

Surrey, UK

On a small piece of matrix. Length of tooth 30mm. Unfortunately I can't spot the serrations on the tooth as they are too worn.

Baryonyx tooth 2

Brook Bay, Isle of Wight, UK

Length of tooth 40mm

Serrations are visible on the tooth when there are good lighting conditions (see last picture). It was incredibly difficult for me to take a photo of the serrations as I don't have a macro lens or anything to magnify the surface.

IMG_3727.jpgIMG_3727closeup.jpg

Baryonyx tooth 3

Brook Bay, Isle of Wight, UK

Length of tooth 8 mm

Again the serrations are visible but it's incredibly hard to photograph due to the size of the tooth. Someone I spoke to thought it is a croc but they are unsure. The source I got this tooth from is pretty reliable but it's such a small tooth and would need to be analysed under magnification. Even then ID can't probably be determined. May well be a juvenile tooth but not sure.

Baryonyx tooth 4

Brook Bay, Isle of Wight, UK

Length of tooth 8 mm

The serrations are visible on this tooth but only in clear lighting conditions it can properly be seen. Again this was incredibly difficult for me to photograph without a macro lens.

I can see serrations on all but the tooth on the matrix as it looks worn on that tooth however wish I could look at the serrations using magnification. May need to invest in equipment soon.

30 Iguanodons?! That's so cool I need to visit this place. I am fascinated by them too and thanks! I can imagine that a lot of Iguanodon teeth are probably in private collections but I think if you look around enough you can find yourself a nice one eventually.  :dinothumb:
