I need to visit this place one day. The nearest place relating to dinosaurs to me is the Natural History Museum in London. I may need to visit it again as I have not been in a very long time. Used to go there often when I was younger but I want to see how it has changed now.

Jaimin013
Some pics of specimens that were sent with my recent purchase of the UK teeth from Isle of Wight. They are not as cool as dinosaur teeth but I thought it would make a change from all of the dinosaur teeth. The seller has said that the foot cast is possibly from a small or juvenile herbivore however I am not too sure about that but I don't know much about footcasts! I have been collecting fossils since April of this year and built up my collection by making contacts. A lot of work is involved in it but when you find something special it makes it all worthwhile and you have the pleasure of speaking to people who are interested in the same thing! 7 hours ago, FossilsAnonymous said: My favorite has got to be the iguanadon. Jaimin013
Dromaeosaurid tooth Champblanc-Cherves, France Size: 15 mm The seller said it is a Nuthetes Destructor tooth so it could possibly be this. Albeit that there is enamel flake the serrations on this tooth look incredible. My first tooth from this location hoping to get some more in the future. Click on the photos and it will enlarge them to the original size.

Jaimin013
Diplodocid (?Apatosaurus) sp. Morrison Formation Upper Jurassic Moffat County, Colorado Size: 6.5 cm This specimen probably represents an un-erupted tooth as there is no visible wear at the tip. This tooth was collected in close association with other Apatosaurus skull material. The transition from enamel to root is present in this specimen. The seller mentioned that the minor dislocation of the tooth is a natural fracture from burial and fossilisation and it was never found in two however stabilised. Some users on here think that it is a likely a diplodocus tooth as the tooth does not have the typical lancet shape of Apatosaurus however there are others who says that it looks like a tooth of a juvenile Apatosaurus. It is believed that teeth may demonstrate changing tooth morphology as a dinosaur matures.
