Fish fossils from the Green River Formation

Hi, the two specimens shown below are said to be from the Green River Formation.  I am not sure what species they are and if they are painted.  Any advice would be much appreciated.

The first pic shows a Cockerellites, most likely C. liops.

The second pic shows a Diplomystus dentatus.

I don't know if any of the two have been restored in any way,

Nevertheless, nice whole fishes! :tff:

If you're a fossil nut from Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Redondo Beach, or Torrance, feel free to shoot me a PM!

Wow, what beautiful fish :) the Cockerellites looks great, but the border surrounding the Diplomystus looks suspicious, that could just be me.

As far as I can tell they are both in order. They may be touched up with some kind of protective coating, but that is normal.

I agree to that - beautiful specimen !
