Hawkey
Found in creek in Southeastern Illinois. Has a rattle so there's something loose inside. Edited May 1, 2018 by Hawkey
Bone guy
I think this looks like a pseudofossil, or a rock that resembles a fossil. But let the experts give their opinions.
Darktooth
I looks to me an iron concretion that happens to have a suggestive shape of a claw. I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.
indominus rex
I see no blood grooves and distinct features that point to it being a claw. And it doesn't have the features of a tooth either, I am not an expert on this but as bone guy said, it seems like a pseudo fossil so to me it isn't a tooth or a claw. Life started in the ocean. And so did my interest in fossils.
Fossildude19
Not a fossil, but a suggestively shaped rock. Max-fossils
@Hawkey Welcome to The Fossil Forum!!! Though you may have lucked out on this one, don't despair. There are many fossil locations in Illinois where you have a high chance of finding good fossils!!! Happy hunting! Max Max Derème "I feel an echo of the lightning each time I find a fossil.
