Theropod phalanx toe bones?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have these two toe bones from the Kem Kem. Was wondering if they belong to a theropod or something like a crocodile. The yellow one (1.3 inches) i believe is theropod, but i am not sure about the red one (1.7 inches).

Do you mean there are no photos? or are the photos there but they are too blurry (not good quality)?

Sorry but what is needed to get a possible answer are sharp picures  that are straight in photos, no obtuse angles of top, bottom, side and ends of these specimens.   No hands. Thanks

No, unfortunately not showing (no photos viewable)....except the blurry ones.

Do any of the following photos help? It is a bit hard to take straight photos as one side of the yellow one is compressed and there is a bit of bone that stick out on the red one making it hard to place these fossils straight without being on an angle.

When taking photos on a mobile phone, do it outside. That's the only way you'll get sufficient light, and no blur/grain.

Sorry the first two are blurry with poor lighting.  I use a type of putty to prop up specimens.

Recognized the photography in your last post from a certain seller, looked them up and found their pages online.

There's only 2 pictures per item on there and some location/size/weight info. But might help the experts.

Know i'm not supposed to post links, but if you google "Rare Unpublished 1.38 Inch Theropod" and "Rare Unpublished 1.72 Inch Theropod" and you will find them ;)

If this is against the rules too, please remove my post! :)

I did look at those photos and again they are very obtuse angles full of matrix that makes an ID difficult.

Some more pictures that might be helpful in identification......
