These contests are known for that. ;)

 

Always some great finds entered in the FOTM contests. Though there can only (technically) be a single winner--they are all winners to the people who find them. We greatly appreciate being able to see lots of envious drool-worthy finds each month.

Opalised fossils are the best: a wonderful mix between paleontology and mineralogy!
