Wood from Washington

As I've said before, I am a rockhound of many years. I see recent posts on wood so figured I'd show a few of my personal finds. All are from my home state of Washington.

Are most of these from the eastern portion of the state?

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. Ty for compliments and as far as where the wood comes from it's mostly from the Mt. Adams area which is really neither eastern or western state. The first and fourth pics are pieces out of the Carbon River which is off the west side of Mt. Rainier. I've got one piece that's a duzy weighing in at about 150-75 lbs. that's from Vantage area & yes it's Ginko. ( Vantage is home to the Petrified Ginko Forest). I'll attach a picture of it below

Pretty amazing.  Not sure how I would cart such a impressive chunk out or even get it into my canoe. My usual wood finds are tiny, in the range of 4-5 inches..

Thanks for sharing
